We code, you give.
Announcing our first Coding For Charity Day!
At Will-Myers, our team is usually so busy bringing you cool new plugins that we don’t have the bandwidth to take on custom coding projects. But for one day only, we’re making an exception! We’re dedicating a full day to tackling as many of your coding conundrums as we can—no strings attached. Instead of a fee, we’re asking for a ‘pay-what-you-can’ donation to support a great cause. Let’s fix some code and do some good!
Our First Coding For Charity Day Recipient:
9th Southampton Scout Group
For the first Charity Coding Day our chosen charity is the 9th Southampton Scout Group, a Scout Group that Abi runs. The group is placed in a non affluent area in Southampton, England and are currently organizing an Easter Fete to raise money to purchase some new camping equipment and to also start a large building project as their current building is becoming unusable. (see their Easter Fete wish list here).
What Can I Ask?
Here are some ideas for the kinds of things we can help with:
“Can you replace my site logo on these pages?”
“I’d like this image to swap on hover to a different image”
“Could you hide these sections on mobile”
“Could you re-order the elements on my product pages”
“Could you install the Before / After Slider for me?”
“Could you show me how to use Custom Fonts”
“Could my button rotate on hover”

What you can expect
No guarantees, just good vibes. We’ll do our best to answer as many questions as we can, but what we take on (and how we solve it) is totally up to us. This is all for charity, so we’re going with a good-faith approach—no promises, no refunds, just a few coding nerds trying to help while raising money for a good cause. We trust you’ll keep it friendly if we can’t get to your question or the solution isn’t exactly what you had in mind.
We’ll do our best to tackle as many coding conundrums as possible, but we can’t promise we’ll get to them all.
One question per ticket—keep it focused on a single, specific problem.
No big projects—to help as many people as possible, we can’t take on anything too large.
If your question requires a plugin, please buy it beforehand.
We reserve the right to say "nope." If a request is unreasonable, rude, or not a good fit, we won’t take it on. Let’s keep this fun!
Admin access may be needed to troubleshoot, so please be ready to provide it ahead of time. Thank you for your trust!
